It's been a while since I've last posted a really good deal. After the euphoria of getting 4 cases, or 16 cans of Earth's Best Organic Baby Formula, for less than $27 a case, everything has paled in comparison. But, this doesn't mean I haven't been dealing since! Here's a fun little deal if you are big on cereal bars - enjoy!
Kashi Cereal Bars (10 ct) - $2.75 each @ Target
Use $2/1 coupon here (bottom right corner)
$0.75 each after coupon
Update: Amazon is officially out of stock! I got my shipping and tracking confirmation (all 30 some odd pounds of it!) and will be receiving it all this week! Score!!! Hope you guys got in on this deal, too!
EDIT: And I forgot the link - here is it! Cheers and Happy New Years!
Need formula for your baby? Amazon has Earth's Best Organic Infant/Baby Formula (4 pack - 25.75 oz each can) for $27.01 when you use their subscribe and save program. Just purchase via subscribe and save, then once your order ships, you can cancel the subscription. I've done this before with their Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads sub & save program, and had no problems.
This deal showed up a week or two ago and was thought to be a price mistake - but wasn't!!!! A lot of people have received their orders and consensus is that the expiration on the cans November 2011! I figure with kid #2 on the way, I might as well stock up on some Organic Formula while it's $6.75 a can - baby formula is expensive...especially organic!!!! Also, because it's Amazon...free shipping, no tax!!!! Yippee!!!
Happy Shopping!
Happy New Year! Go buy yourself a pint of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream before you make that resolution to eat healthier and lose weight.
Sign up here to receive a $3 off any one pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream coupon in your email inbox! I received the email almost immediately, and was able to print out two (just click back on your browser). If you pair this with a store sale, you probably will end up with a free (or realllllly cheap) pint of B&J's Ice Cream!
Thanks Money Saving Mom!
So the Britax deal that I posted not too long ago didn't go through. I did sulk for about 5 minutes (before going back to Target to pick up some of those free Buddies Soap and a bunch of $1 Colgate Toothpaste that is), but I guess even missing a deal can mean that something good will come from it.
Because of the pricing error, Target decided to send everyone who ordered and who had their order canceled a $25 gift card to spend online at Target.com! While this isn't nearly as good as getting a Britax carseat for $43, getting a $25 gift card for free isn't too bad! Pair it with the free shipping or a coupon code means more deals! Yeah!
Here is that wonderful letter I got from Target today:
Dear Kat Chan,
We are sorry for the pricing error you experienced with your order
recently on Target.com. We know this was disappointing.
We want to assure you that this was an unusual technical issue. Target.com
discovered the situation during our price verification, which is a
routine part of our shipping procedures. As soon as we discovered the
error, we corrected our system and notified guests of the error and
cancelled orders, according to the pricing error policy listed on our website.
Target.com strives to offer you the best value and accurate prices
on all of our merchandise. Our teams will continue to monitor our
pricing systems to ensure we deliver the experience you should expect
from Target. Although our online pricing policy was followed, we know
you were disappointed when your order was cancelled. As an apology
for your experience, we'd like to provide you a $25 e-GiftCard to use
on Target.com. Please use the following unique e-GiftCard number when
placing your next order: (Sorry, not showing you my card number!!)
By redeeming this e-GiftCard, you acknowledge full satisfaction and
release of any claims against Target relating to this pricing error.
As a valued guest, your business is very important to us. It’s our hope
to be given the opportunity to serve you again as a Target.com guest.

Got in on a good deal too late - the Britax Carseat deal was canceled. :( I'm happy to report that some people got away with it though! Hopefully next time, I catch the good deal before it's gone!
To ease my pain, I ended up going to Target tonight and buying some $1 Colgate toothpaste, $0.19 Goody Hair Ties, and some free Johnson's Buddy Soaps.
I'm so impressed with HP's fast delivery, I'm actually going to post this deal! I actually made two separate orders because I wasn't sure what I thought about it the first time around. After receiving my ink the next day (after making the order at 7 PM the night before!), I ordered another round of ink for the next time my printer runs out! Just FYI - this deal is actually $7 cheaper than ordering from Amazon.com (at least for me!). Happy Ink Cartridge Shopping!
HP Home is offering a free HP "Homemade for the Holidays" Creative Kit when you purchase a twin-pack of ink for your printer with an additional $10 off coupon SV2130 available.
- Go to HP Home and click "Add" button next to the twin pack you need.
Click here to find ink your model supports. - Checkout, apply coupon SV2130 for an additional $10 off.
- Select free Next Business Day delivery.
- Your total will vary depending on the selected twin pack, as low as $8 with this twin pack.
Note, twin-packs may be of any color, or Black + Color combination, but must be labeled as "Twin-pack"
The Creative kit includes:
- 12-page booklet with tips for holiday printing

Here's one for the ladies out there -
Here's a coupon for $2 off any "Ouchless" Goody Hair product. If you go to my favorite store, Target, you can get a pack of hair ties for $0.19. I go through hair rubber bands like there's no tomorrow - I lose 'em, I snap 'em, I loan them to people...might as well stock up now! This coupon expires on December 31, 2008.
Enjoy!
Why do you make some purchases online and others in-store? What ultimately prompts you to go in-store?
Sponsored by Best Buy.I'm a total cheapskate when I can be - so if I find a good deal in store, I go to the store. If I find a good deal online, I buy online. Here's an example of a good deal in store that I would drive out to (in this case, Target)
Good Deal:
$10 Buy four Glade Scented Oil Candle Starter kits $2.50 each
-$5 Use two Buy one get one coupons on Coupons.com
= $5 plus tax out of pocket and you get $5 Gift Card BackBest Deal:
$10 Buy four Glade Scented Oil Candle Starter kits $2.50 each
-$5 Use two Buy one get one coupons on Coupons.com
-$4 two $2 off one Scented Oil Candle blinkies found at Kmart and many other grocery stores
= $1 plus tax out of pocket and you get $5 Gift Card BackThe offer doesn't apply to candles only, it could be plug in warmers too, as long as it is a holiday scent. This deal is good through 12/15. Limit one offer per customer so you can only do one deal per transaction.
Essentially, Target is paying you $4 minus tax to take their Glade scents of their hands. Because I don't use scents in the house (too cloying for my tastes) I know a lot of people who would use this stuff, as well as give some away as gifts. (this deal is valid, by the way - so enjoy!)
In terms of a good online deal, not too long ago, a bunch of toys were cheap on Amazon.com. Pair that with a $15 back deal with Cookie Magazine, with the free Mr. Potato Head, another free toy, free shipping over $25, no tax, and all these sale toys, people were able to get about $50 worth of toys for $10 bucks. Fine online deal if you ask me (it's over so don't bother asking for details).
So, it depends on what I'm shopping for - I would say I'm an equal opportunity shopper! :)
If you have a baby, and need baby wipes - this is possibly one of the best deals you can get right now...
Target has a 3.00 off any 2 Huggies products coupon out right now:
http://www.huggieshappybaby.com/offers/target/BannerCoupon.aspx
When you combine this with a manufacturer's coupon, you can get two boxes of Huggies wipes for practically FREE!
I had two coupons for 75 cents off Huggies Supreme wipes, so when my total came up after adding the Target coupon, I got the baby wipes for 33 cents for two boxes.
WHAT A DEAL!!! Score! If you guys have better Huggies coupons (such as the $2 off a box of Huggies wipes and a Huggies bath product coupon that I'm going to try out later tonight), you can probably get the stuff cheaper! (Someone paid 8 cents for two boxes of wipes because she had $1.50 off coupons...lucky!)
